20 matches to be shown with RFEF
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have sanctioned TVE with the right to broadcast the last 11 clubs in the Primera Iberdrola.
The deal is has an estimated value of €3m ($3.5m) per season and has been running since last year. It is scheduled to end in summer 2022 as part of the 3-year cycle for renewal and tendering.
The five clubs included are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Madrid CFF, Athletic Club and CD Santa Teresa de Badajoz and these games will be shown on TVE’s Teledeporte channel and RTVE Digital streaming platform.
However, the deal isn’t just for linear and digital outlets, this deal will also include coverage across radio via. +TDP radio station.
Lastly, it has also been reported that Spanish women’s second tier, the Reto Iberdrola will also have s their fixtures distributed across all TVE platforms.
