Ir was an outstanding performance from Arsenal’s and their midfield maestro, Jordan Nobbs, opened up the scoring with a sublime chip over Tottenham’s Rebecca Spencer; catching her off guard and easing the pressure on the Gunners late on in the game.
A 20-minute flurry of goals by the home side lit up Meadow Park, with two goals coming in quick succession.
The first came from the England international Nobbs on the 73rd minuted before Lisa Evans followed up less than a minute later to double their lead.
With only 5 minutes of the game left to play, Evans sprung into life and double Arsenal’s score and to finally seal the win.
Spurs are yet to beat Arsenal and the scoreline across the last four games between the pair is 22-0 to Arsenal. This performance will help to continue pushing Arsenal in the right direction as they continue to make the headlines by winning their games with large margins.
Currently, the Gunners are unbeaten this season.
