Who will win?
Lucy Bronze, formerly of Lyon and now of Manchester City,who won the 2019 UEFA Women’s Player of the Year with Lyon, has been nominated for the award this year as well.
In a similar fashion, Lyon’s Wendie Renard also features on the list and she is part of the top three along with Penille Harder, now of Chelsea, who has been recognized for here performances with Vfl Wolfsburg; including helping the team to the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final.
The winner is expected to be announced along the remaining awards during the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League draw ceremony in Nyon, Thursday 1st October.
The other awards to be handed out on the night are the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, UEFA Men’s and Women’s Coach of the Year and UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Champions League positional award winners
