Earlier this year, the Red Devils lost the fixture in the Women’s Super League.
This time around, United saw a favourable turn of events, winning their second duel in the Continental cup with two goals from Katie Zelem and Jess Sigsworth.
City fielded the same team that drew with Atletico Madrid in their mid-week Champions League game; which saw them concede a last minute goal, albeit there were two changes.
It seems that moral is low and if the do not fix their patches, they could concede more goals going forward.
