Arsenal Women run riot on BHA in Women's Super league

Jordan Nobbs scores first goal on her return

A game of many headlines, not only did Arsenal storm past Brighton, Jordan Nobbs scores on her return after missing the World Cup through a lengthy knee injury.

With 10 minutes played Kim Little started the scoring with her low strike when Dutch forward, Miedema, slipped her in. Williamson and Maer also came close, but the Miedema turn from provider to goalscorer when club captain Jordan Nobbs set her up for a one touch finish.

Van De Donk scored the third and Miedema was involved again, setting up her fellow Dutch women;  until Nobbs sealed the game with an exquisite volley from the edge of the box.

Miedema’s performance was beyond words and she was involved in three of Arsenal’s four goals at Meadow Park. She certainly is the woman of the match.
