This weekend saw Bethany England claim the spotlight with her long range screamer in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over WSL newcomers Tottenham Hotspurs Women.
It was a special day for the club as not they recorded the win alongside a record number of attendees. The goal came when the Blues forward lead the press, dispossessing New Zealand International Ria Percival.
Her 25 yarder was unstoppable and atmosphere surely made it a more of a moment to remember.
