In a game that was pretty stale, there were chances in the first half of the game as Angarad James came close to opening the lead; her corner almost went in, but it was cleared off the line by Ella Rutherford.
30 minutes in, Lucy Graham brought the game to life with an emphatic strike, scoring from distance; as the ball went in after hitting the post.
There were many chances for Everton to pull the game back near the end of the game. Charlotte Boye-Hlorkah and Hannah Cain’s effort’s on goal were stopped by England u23 goalkeeper, Sophie Baggaley
