Substitute Serita Thurton Bags a Brace
After failing to qualify for the 2018 u20 Women’s CONCACAF Championship, Canada have sealed their second victory in Group G.
Currently, the nation sit at the top of their group and have an outstanding 10 point goal difference between themselves and El Salvador, who sit in second place.
The San Cristóbal Panamerican Stadium, located in the Dominican Republic, saw the opening goal come from Miya Torriea Grant- Clavijo (26′), with the last three goals coming in the second half cored by Olivia Smith (49′) and Serita Joy Metha Thurton 62′ 81′).
