64 year-old Randy Waldrum, previously of Houston Dash, is now the Super Falcons’ head coach.
It has been reported that Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Melvin Pinnick is a big fan of Waldrum, and has said:
“Randy Waldrum will be the man tasked with taking our women to the next level”
The idea is that Waldrum, who has also had international experience with Trinidad and Tobago, where he finished fourth at the 2014 Concacaf Women’s Championship, will be able to globalize Nigeria’s performances; since they are the dominant force for African international teams.
