USA internationals Join WSL club
Christen Press and Tobin Heath have both joined Manchester United over the last two days.
The opportunity for both players to play in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League has come due to a long-lasting layoff from football following the impact of the pandemic.
In an extended interview with her new club, Press said “All I can see ahead of me is how much I can improve and grow,” says Christen, in our 15-minute conversation”.
As for her international compatriot, Tobin Heath has also felt the same way about her move to the club, stating that being able to wear the Manchester United badge is huge.
This isn’t the first time the duo have made trips to play European football, with Press turning out for Sweden’s Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in two stints (2012 and 2018).
Similarly, Heath had a brief spell with Paris Saint-Germain in 2014.
