Bayern make it three wins in three
It wasn’t the result that everyone expected and it can be said that the Bundesliga giants didn’t make the most of their chances early on in the game. The most important thing for Bayern Munich is that they got the result that would provide some consistency.

There were many opportunities for Bayern to score 15 mins into the game, with Lea Schüller’s attempt on goal being very comfortable for SC Freiburg’s Lena Nuding.
Within the next 15 minutes, Bayern had a couple more chances with Asseyi putting Lineth Beerensteyn in on goal; but she could not get enough contact on the ball (27′).
Four minutes later Asseyo was involved again, hitting hit her shot over the bar until Glas’ attempt marginally skipped past the post on the 36th minute.
The teams’ goals came on the 66th minute when Marina Hegering got onto a rebound, as poachers do, and slotted the ball into the back of the net.
This is the defender’s second goal of the season.
