Chelsea’s Head Coach up in contention for the Matildas’ job
The well-known Emma Hayes has been a force within the FA Women’s Super League.
Hayes first landed the job with Chelsea Women after leaving her post in the National Women’s Super League in the US; replacing Matt Beard who went to manage Liverpool Women.
Her most recent success with Chelsea was to win the 2019-20 FA Women’s Super League as well as the FA Women’s League Cup.
Hayes’ consideration comes are the 43 year old has been working with Australian star, Sam Kerr, last year; and is seemingly in competition with AC Milan’s former Head Coach, Carolina Morace.
The Italian’s experience is much greater at an international level after placements at Italy, Canada as well as Trinidad and Tobago.
