Dutch international signs for German club Vfl Wolfsburg
Shanice van de Sanden is a winner, proven by her immaculate career, and recently won the UEFA Women’s Champions League, a competition she has won for three consecutive years, with Olympique Lyonnais against Wolfsburg.
In addition to this outstanding achievement, van de Sanden has won trophies with two of her previous clubs FC Utrecht and FC Twente.
During her stints with these clubs, she won the Eredivisie 4 times, the BeNe League, and the KNVB Women’s Cup 2 times.
The 27-year-old forward has played 78 times for her country scoring 18 goals and earned her moved to the ever-dominant Lyon after a year in the WSL with Liverpool Women.
