CAF Women’s Champion’s League to feature eight teams
In a report by All Africa, it is reported that the tournament will consist of teams from six CAF zones across the continent.
As this is the first edition of the tournament in Africa, it is a huge milestone and the launch of this campaign is set to play a great role in developing the women’s game of football globally.
The agreement to host the CAF Women’s Champion’s League in 2021 was made public by the CAF Executive Committee on Thursday 10th September 2020 and is set to feature the best teams in its inauguration.
Following this tournament, in July 2022, is the next Women’s African Cup of Nations which was canceled in June.
