Defender To Have Extensive Time Out
Manchester City defender Aiofe Mannion is set to spend a long time on the sidelines after rupturing her anterior cruciate ligament in Wednesday’s fixture against Atletico Madrid.
Born in Solihull, the 24-year old, former Birmingham City defender, had been an England youth international since u15 level. She received her first call up to the Lionesses senior squad in August; though she is yet to make an appearance.
