Kerr’s early goal set the tone
Scotland U19 international, Samantha Kerr, scored the opener of the fixture against the game side at the Brøndby Stadium.
The midfielder who recently turned 20, converted an excellent goal from great wing play and her deflected shot hit the back of the net; the Danish side were caught off guard from the early high press.
The second goal was just a clumsy mistake by their keeper, Katrine Abel, who should have comfortably collected the ball into the box. Unfortunately the ball slipped out her hands and the Scottish club was gifted their second goal; increasing their advantage going into the second leg.
