Potsdam 4 – 5 Freiburg
It was a Bundesliga thriller, Potsdam’s loss at home was subject to the fact that they began the game with a weakened team; so much so they conceded three goals in the first third of the game, Rebecca Knaak (3′ 30′) and Klara Bühl (8′).
Everyone assumed the game was over until Potsdam began to turn the mid-table fixture on its head as they began their comeback. First it was Lara Prasnikar (59′) and then Anna Gasper (63′) in quick succession. However, Freiburg pushed back when Verena Wieder grabbed a goal back for the away side (69′); the score was now 4-2 to Freiburg.
In a similar fashion Potsdam get another two goals in a speedy fashion; Nina Ehegötz (79′) and again Gaspar (82′) to level the score.
Unfortunately this comeback was short lived and the lease of concentration from both team continues with Potsdam paying the price injury time; Rebecac Knack, who opened the scoring, settled the score.
