Serie A newcomers still without a win
Three games into the season Empoli Ladies are finding it difficult, contending seven goals but on the same time scoring only once; leaving them at the bottom of Serie A Femminile, tied with Fiorentina.
The home side opened up the scoring when Vanessa Bernauer put the ball in the back of the net with only two minutes of the game played. 9 minutes later, French forward Lindsey Thomas doubled their lead.
The other two goals came came in the second half as Agnese Bonfantini (55′) and Annamarie Serturini (82′) get on the scoresheet.
