Manchester City move to top spot
The Citizens have won all seven of their games this season and though possession looked balanced, it seems that the ball was not used well by the visitors.
Starting of the scoring was Keira Walsh on the 27th minute, scoring from 25 yards when her deflected strike went past Birmingham’s Hannah Hampton.
The second goal came just after halftime. Tessa Wullaert received the ball from Janine Beckie who played her in for an easy tap in on the 48th minute.
With 10 minutes to play, Lee Geum-Min grabbed the third, meeting Lauren Hemp’s cross well and sticking it in the bottom corner.
