Experienced midfielder set to miss Portugal clash
Manchester City midfielder Jill Scott has withdrawn from the England squad set to face Portugal on Tuesday at 19:00 BST.
It is said Scott’s appearance is hindered by an ankle strain.
England lost their friendly against Brazil yesterday and are looking to make up for losing a game where there were highlighted as the favourites; since Brazil are ranked six places below the Lionesses in the world rankings, where they are 5th.
