Scotland no longer part of top 12 leagues
This year Scotland have two teams in the Women’s Champions League but Glasgow’s City’s loss to Barcelona Women has meant that the league’s rating no longer sits at 11th place and now are at 14th.
The two teams that currently represent the nation are the aforementioned Glasgow City FC, who lead their domestic league and Hibernian, who also lost in their Champions League bout ; though City have managed to reach the last 16 again.
However it seems that the 4-1 win for Chertanovo was significant enough to keep some time of status for their home country.
