Jiangsu Suning’s Tabitha Chawinga Retains Top Scorer Award

21 year-old wins award back-to-back

Tabitha Chawinga has managed to retain the Chinese Women’s Super League top-scorer award this year; helping her club finish second in the table.

Though not as prolific as her other years, this is mainly due to game time, since she scored 12 goals in 14 games; giving her a goal to game ratio of 0.86.

The Malawi international has been a huge asset and a bargain for the Chinese outfit; joining from Swedish club, Kvarnsveden, in January 2018.

During her tenure in the Swedish Damallsvenskan, she also finished as the top scorer with 25 goals.
