Blues edge past Everton Women for Continental Cup win
It may not have been one of the most goal infested games but is was a joyful one for Birmingham at Solihull Moors.
Marta Tejedor’s side got the win from Rachel Williams, who scored with 17 minutes left of the game, heading in Lucy Staniforth’s corner.
Everton did well to test Birmingham with Chloe Kelly’s low shot being saved by Hannah Hampton; whilst Hannah Cain also came close to finding an equalizer but she couldn’t make a strong enough connection on her volley.
