Turbine Potsdam 5 – 0 SV Werder Bremen
It is now 3 games without a win for Bremen as Potsdam continue their hunt for 3rd place in the Allianz Frauen-Bundesliga.
Despite the changes to improve the teams performance after their draw again Hoffenheim, Bremen have conceded more 4 or more goals for the third time this year.
Potsdam’s Gina Chmielinski scored first, latching onto Rauch’s free kick iin the 27th minute. Following this was Johanna Elsig who converted another set piece to double their lead.
The second half saw this game become a goal fest, as 10 minutes into the half, Viktoria Schwalm got onto Huth’s cross from the baseline.
The final two goals were conceded in the last 20 minutes as Schwalm got her second goal in a similar fashion, this time from Anna Gaspar’s cross; and Felicitas Rauch, who was the provider for the first, scoring a 25 yarder.
