Organising Committee sanction video assisted refereeing
FIFA’s deputy secretary general, Zvonimir Boban, has said that the organisation is happy with the steps that have been taken to use VAR in this year’s world cup.
The Refereeing committee has been planning its use for the past couple of months; and so far they have been able to solidify the use of video assisted refereeing (VAR) during the tournament.
Fifa’s council are very confident of it’s implementation in June. However, a final decision is still to be made.
