Foord Ruptured A Ligament In Last Year’s Semi-Final

24 year old forward Caitlin Foord watched her team lose 2-0 to Melbourne Victory last year and 12 month’s later she is ready to help her team win against Perth Glory on Saturday.

Both team have scored 28 goals in all 12 W-League games this season

The Sydney FC star has scored 10 goals this season, scoring one of these goals in their  2-1  semi-final win over Brisbane Roar.

Foord comments to AAP:

Obviously, last year having my injury, being sidelined and watching the game, it’s never fun being on the sideline let alone to have to sit there and watch the grand final,”

“Things are different this year and I’m fit and healthy.

“I’m hungrier than ever to be able to take part in this year’s grand final and hopefully help the team hold up that trophy at the end of the game.”
