Liverpool Find Replacement For Redfearn
Jepson, who has been with the club since 2009 has been appointed the new manager of Liverpool after being in charge on an interim basis, with Chris Kirkland, since the departure of Neil Redfearn earlier in the seasons.
In light of this, Chris Kirkland will be assuming a role as an assistant manager as well as continuing his role as the goalkeeping coach.
Jepson is ecstatic about her new future with the club:
"I am absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to take charge of Liverpool FC Women," said Jepson.
"I have been at the club for a number of years now, so I know what is expected and I will be looking to carry on the good work from the players and staff in recent weeks.
"The club holds a special place close to my heart, so I am absolutely thrilled to have been appointed as the permanent manager. The players have been fantastic since Chris and I took charge last month so hopefully, we can continue with our recent good run of form."
